Chianti Afternoon Guided Tour. An excursion to one of the most suggestive areas of Tuscany, known all over the world for its wine and its countryside of unrivalled charm, where woods alternate with vineyards and olive groves, in a landscape dotted with Romanesque churches, farmhouses, villas and castles of rare beauty.
You will have the opportunity of visit a prestigious winery and its ancient cellars and experience an unforgettable tasting of 4 different excellent wines, accompanied by typical local snacks. Then you will reach a family-run winery where the owner will lead you on a guided tour that will end with a delicious tasting of 4 limited-production wines and local delicacies. The tour includes also the visit of Greve, a wonderful hamlet of the Chianti.
If for organizational or logistical reasons it will not be possible to visit Greve in Chianti, this visit will be replaced with another city in Chianti or in a panoramic viewpoint.

Frequency Low Season: Monday, Wednesday, Saturday.
Duration: about 5 hours.

Meeting Point: Tours & news kiosk at Piazzale Montelungo bus terminal. Piazzale Montelungo is a 5-10 minute walk from the Santa Maria Novella train station. Look for the staff wearing a fuchsia jacket.
Remember to arrive 15 minutes before the starting time of the tour.
Price: The tour is not allowed to children between 0 - 7 years of age.
Low season: 55,00 euro per person. Children under the age of 12 pay reduced ticket 27,50 euros.
High season: 55,00 euro per person. Children under the age of 12 pay reduced ticket 27,50 euros.

The price includes: round trip transportation, tour leader, snack and wine tasting.

English and Spanish languages are always guaranteed.
In order to confirm the excursion in French, German, Italian or Portuguese a minimum of 2 pax is required during the high season, and 4 pax during the low season.

CANCELLATION POLICY - GROUP GUIDED TOURS

If a cancellation is made at least 4 days before the day of the tour, the cancellation penalty is equal to 30% of the gross total.
For cancellations that are made from 3 days prior the day of the tour, the penalty charge will be equal to 100% of the gross total (price paid is NOT REFUNDABLE).
